Albion Wilson papers, 1929-1954.

Research gathered about Granville, Massachusetts, by Albion Wilson, a resident of Hartford. Granville is a town in Hampden County, Massachusetts, just north of the Connecticut border. The research ultimately led to the publication of a book on the topic. However, due to Mr. Wilson's sudden death, the book was published by his wife, Lavina Rose Wilson. Mrs. Wilson's family was from Granville, and 1 box (.5 linear feet) contains Rose family documents. The other boxes contain cemetery records, Granville marriage records (1756-1851), drafts and papers read, souvenir napkins from at least three occasions, newspaper clippings, Granville annual reports, and other items of historical interest, such as church directories. One non-archival box contains a typescript of the book. It was printed in Hartford by Connecticut Printers in 1954.

2 linear feet (4 boxes).
